Founded by Mr. Tom Sawyer, this company has been active in transaction benchmarking since its inception and has helped develop industry standards in effect today through the Transaction Processing Performance Council (TPC). Performance Metrics, Inc. has provided benchmark auditing for almost all major hardware and software vendors.
